I think we need to take a break. No, it’s not you. It’s me. You see, I have to present this game in three days. That means three days to finish. Don’t worry, the game doesn’t have to be completely finished. It just has to be complete enough to show off. When I come back, I promise everything will be the same. We’ll pick up right where we left off. I’ll even bring back the changelog!
A menu has been added. It’s really cool. From the menu, you can play the game, or exit the game. There is also a button for options.
Have you ever played a game, and just couldn’t get used to the controls? Well, I have a fix for that! Options have been added to Astro-Slug! You can switch the control scheme and turn on an awesome fps counter.
Added a story (kinda)
Yes, there is a story. Now it’s actually IN THE GAME, presented through a cool, totally-not-stolen text scroll.
I fixed a bunch of things! Physics are now the same on all computers (they weren’t before). Also, you can’t walk off the side anymore. The best fix, however, is that the lasers can’t go through floors or enemies anymore! I know this will make the game harder, but harder is always better.
